Hamilton City Council has confirmed who will represent the city for the next three years.
Final results released today (Saturday 18 October) show Tim Macindoe is the Mayor of Hamilton for the 2025-2028 electoral term.
Today’s results add the special votes to the preliminary results released earlier this week.
Today’s outcome also reallocates the votes cast for Mayor Macindoe as a Councillor in the East Ward.
The reallocation has seen Sue Moroney take the final seat in the East Ward.
“My warmest congratulations to the new and returning councillors,” said Mayor Macindoe. “I also want to acknowledge all candidates who stood unsuccessfully this time for Hamilton City Council, and I particularly wish to thank Maxine van Oosten and Louise Hutt for their contributions and service to our city.”
