Central city parking map

Use this map to find out where you can park in central Hamilton.

Requirements and locations

Mobility parking spaces are provided across Hamilton and are marked by mobility signs with yellow/blue road markings to differentiate them from other parking spaces. You must display your mobility parking permit to use these. You can also use paid general parking spaces for twice the time you’ve paid for if you display your mobility permit (this is not included in the long-stay carparks, these are $6 per day for all users).

CCS Disability Action provides the national Mobility Parking Permit Scheme. Apply for a permit and find out more on their website.

Mobility parks are also provided at all Council facilities, including our offices and in the Council-operated parking area near the Waikato Museum. Outside the central city, you’ll also find mobility parking at these Council facilities: Waterworld, Claudelands Event Centre, Hamilton Zoo, and Hamilton Gardens.
