This park is an irregular shape with a large flat area at the southern end of the park, a small play area up the top of a steep bank, and a small, narrow space extending to the northeast. A path from Dunvegan Place runs down the western side of the park to Caernarvon Street.

The name ‘Caernarvon’ follows the theme of British castles. Caernarvon Castle, situated in north Wales, had its walls built by Edward I after the final conquest of Wales between 1282-1283.
