This adventure playground and park is a must-see for everyone.

The adventure playground has exciting play equipment such as tube slides, a basketball half-court, swings, flying fox and climbing nets, as well as picnic tables, disability friendly toilets, and shade.

Near the playground there are sports fields and an off-lead dog exercise area – a perfect area to run around with the kids and the dog.

There is a pitch and putt and mini golf facility on the Callum Brae side of the park, which is popular over the summer months.

The Kirikiriroa Stream runs along the bottom of the gully area of Tauhara Park and includes a walkway/bike path - an easy link for people to get from Rototuna into Chartwell without having to be near busy roads. These pathways are surrounded by native bush and can seem a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
