If you're looking for a sports venue that’s close to lots of amenities, you’ll find Clyde Park close to hops and The University of Waikato. Over the Summer months Clyde park hosts Northern Districts Cricket NDCA.


Knighton Normal School also backs onto the park which pupils use as a safe shortcut to school. The park is popular with soccer players in the winter and cricket in the summer.

You need a permit to host an event in a public park or space in Hamilton, especially when having any of the below:
