Phase one of the project involves replacing the damaged kerb on Duke Street and is expected to take three weeks to complete – weather dependent. Trees that are damaging the footpath and kerb will be removed as part of this work.
Phase two of the project involves digging up the road along this section of Duke Street and rebuilding it with new and re-usable material. This work is planned for early April and is expected to be completed over several days.
This work is part of ongoing efforts to look after and improve our infrastructure and the safety of our roads. Council is focussed on providing a transport network that helps connect people and places in safe, accessible, and smart ways.
