Industrial capacity

This dashboard displays the estimated industrial capacity across different industrial areas in Hamilton and is measured in hectares.  For each area of interest and land parcel on the map, you can see the land area available (capacity). You can also see when we expect the area will be able to be developed and whether the land is freehold or leasehold. 

It is important to note that all capacity figures are estimates and subject to change. 

We update this information regularly to remove land once it has been developed, to reflect changes to the District Plan or when developer plans change.

The industrial land capacity numbers listed in this dashboard represent the full capacity. There are no reductions to reflect uncertainty around demand for leasehold land in Ruakura.
