Why is it necessary block roads? There are enough dead ends already.
If a roundabout as complex as the new Morrinsville road that now limits entering speeds into Hamilton and aids traffic crossing from Matangi and Silverdale. Why cannot the East St, Peachgrove road intersection also have a roundabout installed. As the main problem indicated appears to be the eye site issue for traffic along Peachgrove Road, then controlled slowing that traffic just as occurs at the Thomas/ Hukanui Roads intersection in Rototuna would work just as well. Ref: The almost invisible roundabout at Te Kowhai East road and Arthur Porter Drive which constantly busy along with many heavy vehicles. |
