East Street improvements

Option 2: Partial closure and left out only of East Street

I don't mind which option is chosen, but have a request which applies to all 3 options.
Where the buildout is on southern side of East St (east), can a cycle entry ramp/cut down be added. This would allow cyclists coming from the eastern end of East St, to ride straight up onto the shared area before turning left to the pedestrian crossing.
Looking straight at the images for the 3 options, this would be behind and to the right of the bright blue car, where the second yellow no stopping line is. There doesn't appear to be any cut down for cyclists coming from Ruakura to safely get onto the new shared area.
Add solid green paint alongside the parallel and angled parking outside the dairy to give drivers a visual aid to watch for cyclists travelling from the north.

Yes I support a pedestrian crossing at this intersection. It could either be a zebra crossing or traffic lights.
I would like to request that the buildouts on either side of East Street to be built out to just short of the cycle lane. On the image, the left turn side is well short of the cycle lane, and the left turn side from Brooklyn is built out into the cycle lane. These buildouts need to be even on both sides so the cycle lane is still clearly defined on both sides. They are very uneven in the current drawing.
The buildouts also need to be tighter to slow vehicles turning into and out of Brooklyn Rd, East St and the Park, as shown by red lines on the images in the attached document.
I also think the buildout where the shared path from the park comes out onto Brooklyn Rd should be more defined. Drivers should have a harder 90 degree left turn onto Brooklyn, rather than that fast curved left turn in the image.
