East Street improvements

Kia ora, Thank you for your time, Firstly I'd like to make it 100% Clear That I'm in full Support of an upgrade to the peachgrove and East st intersection,And for a Crossing Hopefully with Crossing lights as well,However i would still like to regain full use of East st, And if finically possible have a roundabout put in, My Seasoning behind this is as follows, By only making it possible to access peachgrove rd by turning left it will lead to a huge backlog of cars further up at the crossroads roundabout, leading to a very high level of Road rage from people trying to get to work on time, Secondly by fully closing East st at the peachgrove rd intersection, the people who live on East st will face a major dilemma trying to get onto Brooklyn Road with the amount of impatient traffic, you mentioned there being several options, is it possible please to know the other options, i know it's a Matter of fiance and Public Safety So please accept my appreciation to the Hamilton City Councilors And NZTA,Members Who are trying their best to make a long overdue upgrade to this very Dangerous intersection, I'm only asking for a little bit more clarity on the other options that were discussed, And i Thank you for your time,

I travel through the area regularly

Go to farmer’s market, Claudelands playground, settlement centre, or other Claudelands Arena attraction, Go to farmer’s market, Claudelands playground, settlement centre, or other Claudelands Arena attractions, Now Days my Driving And walking are much more limited, And although I live at the university end of Old farm Road, Residents who live off side streets on old farm Road, Also have had Many Close calls trying to turn right onto old farm Road in the early morning and afternoon traffic, Due to Vans, cars and trucks parked on Both sides of Old farm Road, Due to impeded visibility by said vehicles, So i find it safer to travel down Ruakura rd upto peachgrove rd turning right onto peachgrove rd and then left onto East st, And that is the safest way to get to the park in morning rush hour traffic, And yes unfortunately the Return journey turning right from East st onto peachgrove rd is and has been very Dangerous for many years, And again please accept my apologies I'm not wanting to make anymore Difficult than it is, I'm just looking for another solution, That will likely make things difficult by either stopping cars turning right or more difficult for cars only being able to turn left Due to the huge Backlog of traffic this as I Said in my Opinion will definitely lead to Road rage, And no one wants that to happen either, Thank you for your time

Yes i 100% Support the proposed Crossing on Brooklyn rd, And my reason for this is Because many elderly, and disabled and School children will be very much Safer with a Crossing, And I'd fully support traffic lights at said Crossing too, Cars do travel that road at above posted speed signs, Although i can't back that up as i don't have a Radar detector, And again Thank you to all involved in this endeavor,
