The other options do not work and over the top. I have use this intersection for the last 12 years both as driver and pedestrian and yes the right turn could do with some safety improvement like mirrors etc. But blocking such an important route is just making it difficult for residents and adding more traffic to an already busy Brooklyn rd. Plus having a huge cul-de-sac is just asking for trouble, attracting boy racers and other antisocial behavior

Yes, but don't need kerb build up as not a lot of foot traffic other than during events. Plus it's will slow down traffic on an already busy street during event time
