I know the area very well, the road in its current form is not fit for purpose... Boys High students cross in large numbers from Wilson to school and vice versa and need a safe crossing point to do so.
The driver behaviour down this road after school is terrible, designing the road to limit this behaviour would be beneficial in creating a safer environment for all. |

There is ample available parking on side streets, if you take away the parking on Peachgrove it sets a clear line in the sand that no parking is to be done there and that side streets must be used. These habits/behaviours won't take long to change, especially as I know the schools are very good at promoting behaviours they want to see/discourage.
Removing parking will actually improve the road for vehicles as its vehicles looking for parks and making poor descions and making dangerious U turns that steams the flow... so with full safety improvements the flow should be better for anyone travelling through this area at peak times. |

I support raised crossings where they make sesnse and around schools where lots of stduents are crosisng roads.... it makes sense.

Yes! to slow traffic, raised crossings are the only thing that changes the road enviornment to slow vehicles.
