None of the options seem to really address the congestion issue. A crossing would increase congestion and would exacerbate other safety issues if those aren't properly dealt with. As someone who lives in the area, there always seems to be a lot of kids who walk or bike to those schools so would want to see evidence that it actually is a problem before being convinced more needs to be done there. It also seems likely a number of the issues relate to current illegal behaviour that is just not being enforced, so would make sense to focus on enforcement in the first instance as per option 4, see what difference that makes and then to move to another option if needed. Otherwise the illegal behaviour issues will continue regardless of what's put in place, particularly during the construction period.

The notice said there are 227 other parks in surrounding streets, so seems those could be used if Peachgrove wasn't an option. Are these well known to parents picking up children? If not, maybe the schools could provide info to kids to take home to their parents about these surrounding street areas and that may lessen congestion? Assuming that hasn't already been tried
