| Please share any comments you have about why you chose to support/oppose the different options. |
Cars are needed for transport. Removing carparks in Peachgrove Rd will create chaos in smaller surrounding streets for drop off and pick up of students.
Lower speed limits, educate people, and maybe the schools could have pick up/drop off bays. Council is broke and shouldn't be spending money it doesn't have. Roads are being ruined by recent developments and are far more dangerous. |
| How important or unimportant was retaining parking spaces on Peachgrove Road when deciding your support/opposition to each of the options? |
Extremely important
|
| Please share any comments you have about potential reductions to the number of parking spots on Peachgrove Road. |
Don't do it.
|
| For Option 1: Do you support adding raised pedestrian and cycling crossings on nearby streets at an additional $600,000, bringing the total project cost to $5.4m? |
No
|
| Please provide any additional comments you may have about raised pedestrian and cycle crossings for Option 1. |
Raised crossings are dangerous, unhealthy for people (sore backs and necks) and vehicles (suspension). People also have a false sense of security thinking they are pedestrian crossings and just walk out.
|
| For Option 2: Do you support adding raised pedestrian and cycling crossings on nearby streets at an additional $300,000, bringing the total project cost to $4.3m? |
No
|
| Please provide any additional comments you may have about raised pedestrian and cycle crossings for Option 2. |
As above
|
| For Option 3: Do you support adding a raised pedestrian and cycling crossing on Wilson St at an additional $150,000, bringing the total project cost to $1.2m? |
Don't know/unsure
