I think it’s hugely important to still have some parking outside the schools still, I like the idea about limiting the parking time - but I think of a time limit is put on there, it should just be limited during school drop off and pick up times. There are many occasions where that parking by the school is important - for weekend sports games etc.
I also think having a crossing nearer to the Hamilton boys high school entrance will help encourage the boys to cross the road safely. Currently the only crossing is too far away, especially if coming from the Clyde street side of Peachgrove road. |

Hamilton boys high is a big school and it is already a nightmare trying to get a park when there’s an event on.
