| Which option for on-street short-stay parking in the central city do you support? |
Option 2: Removal of free parking
|
| Help us understand the reason for your response: |
More cars in the city = less attractive. The parking charge is tiny. Public transport, cycling, and walking should be incentivised, if anything.
|
| Do you support Council’s proposal to increase the entry fee for non-Hamiltonians aged 16 and over to enter the enclosed areas at Hamilton Gardens to $27.50 from October 2026? |
In part, but I have suggestions
|
| Help us understand the reason for your response: |
Visitor user pays, if council requires revenue it seems fair enough. I’m less certain about charging kiwis, international visitors, sure.
|
| Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation? |
No, these are my own personal views
