| Which option for on-street short-stay parking in the central city do you support? |
Option 3: One hour free
|
| Help us understand the reason for your response: |
Dropping in to pick things up an hour free parking is adequate. The app to park really just needs a button to say - this is where I am and get the location from the phone instead of working out where you parked.

| Do you support Council’s proposal to increase the entry fee for non-Hamiltonians aged 16 and over to enter the enclosed areas at Hamilton Gardens to $27.50 from October 2026? |
No
|
| Help us understand the reason for your response: |
We have stopped not only taking visitors to the gardens but also visitors have asked us to meet them elsewhere rather than visiting Hamilton at all.
We now rarely visit the gardens as a result of the introduction of entry fees. It was a waste of money changing the entry so you could charge for visitors. Instead the gardens should allow cart style vendors to operate in the gardens for a cut, and if you do charge visitors give them a token to get 50% off a purchase at the vendors or cafe. |
| Do you support the proposed Planning Guidance/Urban and Spatial Planning fees and charges? |
No
|
| Help us understand the reason for your response: |
Seems like you are charging for core business activities.
I'm going to be honest I'm much more concerned that the senior executive in the council are vastly overpaid. The council should have a much flatter salary system. Seriously - its a disgrace. |
| Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation? |
No, these are my own personal views
