If you want people in town then provide free two hr parks, & have a subsidised Knox street for the new theatre, why you didn’t insist on underground parking is beyond me.

None of our family have been to the gardens since the charges came about. And why do regular visitors from Ohaupo get charged, I have a lot of friends who live in Ohaupo, who used to meet for lunch, pensioners, who now don’t go at it puts $ 40.00 onto the price of lunch, we have children who now live out of town, it was one of the only places that we could all go without spending an arm and a leg. I’ve paid rates for 44 years and my kids many years too.

Don’t know anything about them, maybe if you didn’t have the Waikato Times demanding money to read an online article then more people would be aware. Suggest these kind of articles should be online without a fee so people could be better informed.
