| Thinking about potential mergers with other councils, what, if any, opportunities do you see? |
Already aligned with Waikato District Council with waters. Savings with public services spending, IT licensing, back end systems.

| Thinking about potential mergers with other councils, what, if any, concerns do you have? |
Amalgamation with all Councils would be very complex. Too much heads around the table, multiple different systems, groups with own agendas. Would support Hamilton and Waikato District Council first, Waipa second, but definitely NOT all 9 Councils, as this would be very costly to implement. That might in future, but up front, extremely complex and costly.
