I like the ideal of merging with Waipa specifically because I used to live in Cambridge, and the large population of commuters to Hamilton there means it makes a lot of sense for them to have a voice in the city, and I see a lot of opportunity to improve connections between Hamilton and it's satellite towns under shared governance.

While I like the idea of the merger with waikato and waipa councils, merging all waikato councils feels like it'll be way too broad and take away power from voters at a local level to affect their neighborhoods.
