I suppory amalgamation of all of the councils within the Waikato Regional Council boundaries. This gives the maximum opportunity for economy of scale. Being able to bring functions currently being outsourced, in-house and basing them in satellite townships where land and rates are cheaper. An example is roading maintenance.
