About Bruce
Before starting his own advisory business, Bruce held senior leadership roles within the Office of the Auditor-General, Audit New Zealand and the Pacific Association of Supreme Audit Institutions. As an Assistant Auditor-General, he was responsible for three sectors – local government (including subsidiaries such as ports, airports and the range of for-profit and public benefit Council-Controlled Organisations), and environment and energy (including State-Owned Enterprises and line businesses). His consulting work includes acting as an independent member on audit and risk committees, providing governance expertise and support to Council’s elected members, and conducting independent reviews and inquiries.
