About Moko
Moko Tauariki was elected to Hamilton City Council in 2022, standing on a platform of being a voice for Maaori decision making within Council, better housing, better environmental standards, and improved access. He aims to model and lead a meaningful Te Tiriti partnership that keeps people at the centre of the journey. He is Deputy Chair of the Finance and Monitoring committee and sits on many of the other committees of Council.
