There is an important by-election coming up to elect a new Kirikiriroa Maaori Ward councillor onto Hamilton City Council. Are you on the Maaori Roll? Do you live in Kirikiriroa? Do you want the Tikanga of your values and perspective expressed at the Hamilton City Council table? Come along, meet and support your amazing Maaori champions standing for our communities in this by-election.

Te Āhurutanga Leadership Series: Meet the Candidates

Wednesday 31 July
Location: Ko Te Tangata Wharenui, The Pā, University of Waikato, Hillcrest Rd 

Doors to the Wharenui will be open from 5.30pm

6pm – Opening Karakia and Whakatau

Opening remarks by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Māori, DVCM(University of Waikato)

6.15pm Each candidate will have five mins to speak with the floor open for questions following each speaker. This will be facilitated by the DVCM

7.20pm Closing remarks and comments
