Elected Members Briefing Wednesday 25 September 2024, 9:30am

At the beginning of each Council or committee meeting, up to 30 minutes is available for the public (individuals or groups) to present on a matter that is on the meeting’s agenda. Each individual or group is allowed up to five minutes to speak. 

Speakers are listed on a first come, first served basis, and as many speakers as possible will be heard within the allocated 30 minutes.

Note: Your name, a summary of what you say and anything you distribute at the meeting will be included in the minutes and made available online, as well as livestreamed and included on our YouTube channel.

You can also make a written submission on a matter that is on the meeting’s agenda by emailing hcc.governance@hcc.govt.nz

Before meetings sometimes our staff need to brief Elected Members on complex or detailed matters. These briefing are public information but they aren't livestreamed like Council meetings
