The Hearings and Engagement Committee conducts fair, effective hearings where members of the public or representatives of organisations can make verbal submissions on plans, policies and strategies that Council is consulting the community on.
This committee was active during the 2019-2022 Council Triennium and was changed with the new governance structure in 2023.
