How can I get involved in this meeting?

At the beginning of each Council or committee meeting, up to 30 minutes is available for the public (individuals or groups) to present on a matter that is on the meeting’s agenda. Each individual or group is allowed up to five minutes to speak. 

Speakers are listed on a first come, first served basis, and as many speakers as possible will be heard within the allocated 30 minutes.

Note: Your name, a summary of what you say and anything you distribute at the meeting will be included in the minutes and made available online, as well as livestreamed and included on our YouTube channel.

You can also make a written submission on a matter that is on the meeting’s agenda by emailing hcc.governance@hcc.govt.nz

The Traffic, Speed Limit and Road Closures Hearings Panel conducts fair and effective hearings and makes determinations on objections relating to the Traffic Bylaw, Speed Limit Bylaw, and proposals for temporary closure of any road.
