Infrastructure and Transport Committee

The Infrastructure and Transport Committee:

• Provides direction on strategic priorities and resourcing for core infrastructure aligned to city development and oversight of operational projects and services associated with those activities.
• Develops policy, approves core-infrastructure related operational strategies and plans and monitors their implementation. 
• Receives and considers presentations and reports from stakeholders, government departments, organisations and interest groups on core infrastructure and associated services and wellbeing issues and opportunities.
• Provides direction regarding Council's involvement in regional alliances, plans, initiatives and forums for joint infrastructure and shared services (for example Regional Transport Committee).
