A section of Fairfield Esplanade on Hamilton’s river path network will be closed tomorrow, 1 August, to allow for vegetation management.
The closure affects the section north of the Fairfield Bridge, commences at 8am and should be concluded by 2pm.
Vegetation, including noxious weeds, will be removed from around the path improving its accessibility for path users.
Path users will need to detour via River Rd, which runs adjacent to this section of path.
Hamilton City Council apologies for the short notice on this closure.
